Lupine Adventure – Full Gold Expedition Section (Training, Practice and Assessed Expeditions, Presentation)

Our full Open Programme is ideal for anyone needing to complete their gold expedition section. It includes a full training course immediately followed by a practice expedition in Yorkshire in July. You then have the choice of an assessed expedition in the Lake district in August, or the Yorkshire Dales in October.

• July 24-29th – Gold training course and practice expedition. Baildon, Yorkshire. The training course covers the full gold syllabus and takes no shortcuts in making sure that you are fully prepared for your practice expedition which takes place over 3 days, finishing at Skipton, North Yorkshire.

• Assessed expedition option 1: August 7-11th in the Lake District.

• Assessed expedition option 2: October 30-Nov 3rd in the Yorkshire Dales.

We provide stoves, fuel and tents to the team for use during the training course and expeditions. Items of personal kit (waterproofs, sleeping bags, rucksacks etc) are also available at no extra cost. We offer support for with your route panning and other preparations in advance of the expedition, and facilitate the completion of your presentation at the end, to make sure that your expedition section is successfully completed.
Lupine Adventure Co-operative is a not-for-profit company providing outdoor education and recreation to young people and adults. We hold an AALA license meaning that our procedures and staff qualifications are checked on an annual basis by highly qualified and experienced outdoor professionals working on behalf of the Health and Safety Executive.
