This expedition can be done as either your practice or your assessed expedition.

Arrival: 14:30 May 29th at the base camp near Staveley (near Windermere)
Finish: 16:00 June 2nd. Windermere Train Station.
Price: £314 (£282 if booked before 18th April 2023)

You will meet you team and Supervisor on the afternoon of May 29th. Your Supervisor will go through the various pre-expedition checks and will support everyone to make sure that all is ready to start the expedition the next morning. The team will spend the night at the basecamp then will complete a four day expedition on May 30th – June 2nd.

The price includes Mountain Leader-qualified supervision, and all campsite fees. Stoves, fuel and tents are provided, and items of personal kit (waterproofs, sleeping bags etc) can be borrowed at no extra cost.

All our open expeditions are accessible by public transport; starting and finishing either at – or within taxi distance of – train stations.

Lupine Adventure Co-operative is a not-for-profit company providing outdoor education and recreation to young people and adults. We hold an AALA license meaning that our procedures and staff qualifications are checked on an annual basis by highly qualified and experienced outdoor professional working on behalf of the health and safety executive.
