****FINAL FEW SPACES STILL AVAILABLE FOR 12-16 FEBRUARY 2018****
We run residentials throughout the year combining A Level revision with fun outdoor activities. The aim of our residential is for YOU to achieve these 5 things:
- gain confidence in your A Level subjects through quiet, focused and supported revision
- gain plenty of exercise in a fun atmosphere and beautiful location
- eat really well – meals will be an important shared experience for all the group
- sleep really well – research proves that this aids mental retention and concentration
- make new friends
We will be staying in an outdoor centre in the Peak District National Park, situated in glorious isolation high above Ladybower Reservoir, with stunning views down and across the valley. Each day will involve a physical activity outside such as mountain biking, climbing, trekking or bushcraft skills, a morning or afternoon revision session with Dr Sue Hills (Maths) or Adam Chappell (Physics), both experienced A Level teachers and the choice of further quiet revision time in the evening or a shared group activity such a team challenges, quiz, games etc
We also offer FREE pick-up/return from the local train station in Bamford.
“Just wanted to say many thanks to you all for providing such a great experience for Jake last week in the Brecon Beacons. He has really enjoyed the residential – the food, the maths sessions and the many different activities which you provided. It was a great chance for him to get to know new people and I know he found the mix of fun and hard work really beneficial. He has come back ready to tackle the next half term at college and his uni applications.”
