Volunteering with the Environment Trust is a fun way of learning about local places and connecting with nature. We have provided a range of inspiring volunteering opportunities for Bronze, Silver and Gold Duke of Edinburgh`s Award participants for the last four years.
Opportunities are typically available for four hours on a number of Saturdays. Volunteers help to conserve green spaces including woodland, meadows, streams and rivers and to improve wildlife habitats in parks and gardens. You need enthusiasm for the natural world but no specific knowledge or experience. Full training is given and activities are adaptable to volunteers’ personal skills and abilities from age 14 years upwards.
We work in Richmond, Hounslow and Kingston.
