Join our fun and friendly Education team for this year’s conservation residential. It includes an action-packed programme of practical conservation tasks in the wonderful surroundings of moorland SSSI and heritage coast.
Activities include work on the Cleveland Way National Trail, exclusive access to Fylingdales Moor for peat depth surveying and a circular walk at Goathland- famous for Harry Potter’s Hogsmeade Station and the Mallyan Spout waterfall. The first day involves team building and spending the evening climbing a low ropes course and axe throwing with a campfire.
Those completing The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Gold level or the Queen’s Award can gain the residential sections of the awards. All participants work towards the John Muir Discovery Award.
