You will form a critical understanding of some of the theories and methods used across a range of contemporary psychology topics.
During this summer school you will:
Explore psychological theory across a range of everyday topics, such as psychology of addiction, psychology of conspiracy, psychology of sleep, psychology of sport, psychology of body perception.
Engage in critical psychological thinking and discussion across important real-world topics that are relevant to them.
Evaluate the mechanisms of human behaviour
Engage in the scientific practices involved in psychological research
Have practical hands-on experience with specialist software used in psychology
Experience what studying psychology might be like at University
Engage in psychological thinking that can be applied in everyday life
Upon completing the course, you will be equipped with some of the background theoretical knowledge and skills essential even in year 1 study of psychology.

Social Events:
We appoint NTU Student Ambassadors who host social events on Monday and Wednesday evening which must be attended by DofE participants.
