The schedule tells you where a voyage will start and finish, but not where you will go in between. That depends on weather and tide: but also on you! Our staff don’t decide in advance where to go: the skipper will lay out the options and you can decide as a group what you want to achieve on your voyage and where you want to go.

Ocean Youth Trust South is charity which uses Adventure Under Sail as a personal development opportunity for young people aged 12-25.

A voyage in Prolific allows you to cover all the essential areas for your Residential Project, all conducted within a relaxed, informal environment. You will learn a great deal – but you will also have a fantastic time!

Doing your Residential on board a voyage in Prolific will give you the opportunity to:

You can also earn an RYA Start Yachting or Competent Crew qualification. And each year OYT South selects some of the most promising young crew members for our watchleader training programme – which could mean years of free sailing as a volunteer, supporting other young people – a fantastic addition to your CV.
