Oyster Worldwide Gold residential – Conservation Volunteer work in Australia

Work alongside the local community on worthwhile projects around the country. Take part in with up to 10 volunteers under the guidance of a project team leader, and help with environmental tasks in locations off the beaten track.

Volunteers chose from the two gateway cities of Melbourne or Newcastle (near Sydney) to begin volunteering. Lots chose to do a couple of weeks in both! From the gateway cities, volunteers travel out to local communities and become part of a team helping with tasks such as seed collection, weed control, beach clean ups, tree planting, walkway construction and habitat and heritage restoration.

Accommodation and three meals a day are provided during volunteer time and during the weekends in between volunteering. All transport to project sites is included. There is availability throughout the year starting on Fridays.
