Working alongside professional journalists, you will help to report on a variety of issues, from sport to politics.
When you book with us, we will work with you to match your skills and interests with an exciting internship in Ghana.
You can typically expect to work Monday – Friday 09:00 to 17:00, developing a range of skills, including: editing, copy-writing, reporting, interviewing and researching, plus much more.
There will be plenty of opportunity to get involved with local schools and academies, helping to teach classes in media, creative writing and basic journalism. Past interns have even helped local children produce a newspaper. This element of the internship enables you to give back to the local community.
Food and Accommodation
You will be living in shared accommodation with other participants in Ghana. There are plenty of communal areas to relax and unwind in the evening and at the weekend. The accommodation has single sex rooms and western bathrooms.
Three meals a day are provided for your 7 days a week. On the days you are working, a packed lunch will be provided. Home cooked breakfast and dinner is provided, giving you an opportunity to eat a variety of food, including Ghanaian dishes.
