Complete your Gold Residential Project at Peat Rigg on a week dedicated to The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. You will also take part in an exciting range of Outdoor Activities and Conservation projects and have the opportunity to complete the John Muir Discovery Award.
Peat Rigg is a Social Enterprise based on a beautifully converted farmhouse in the North York Moors National Park, 5 miles from Pickering.
The five-day Gold Residential will involve exciting activities ranging from climbing, canoeing, mountain biking and bush craft skill. It will also involve conservation tasks such a woodland management and working with willow. Our experienced and qualified instructors will make this Gold Residential an experience to remember. The cost for this Gold Residential includes everything – instruction, equipment, accommodation and food and also free pick up and return at Malton Train Station by arrangement.

What equipment do you need?
All the specialist equipment will be provided by Peat Rigg. For all activities it is best if you wear old clothes and bring plenty of changes. A full suggested kit list will be sent to you when you book.
