New term, new hobby! Collect, build, and paint amazing miniatures by choosing Warhammer for your Bronze, Silver, or Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s award – it’s the perfect time to get involved!

The new academic year is a great opportunity to join the world’s greatest miniatures game and complete your skills section – whether you’re a seasoned model-maker or completely new to the hobby. Work and play with your friends, at school or at home, as you build and paint your own collection – chosen from thousands of different models in sci-fi and fantasy worlds.

The Warhammer Skills Development Programme is aimed at Duke of Edinburgh’s Award candidates aged 14-25. Participants of any skill level can take part, whether you are discovering the hobby for the first time, or already have Warhammer experience.

Our specially-designed booklet will help develop skills in a variety of different areas, including time and project management, as well as artistic expression in building and painting. You will also be able to track your progress along the way.

Our beginner Skill Levels 1 and 2 will walk you through the process of building and painting your first models whilst completing the Skills section of your Duke of Edinburgh’s award. We offer a special bundle of products to first-time Skills participants containing everything you will need to complete the programme, tailored to the level you wish to start at. Visit your nearest Warhammer store and staff will be happy to help!

Levels 1 and 2 each offer 3 months of Skills section content, up to a total of 6 when completed together. If you are a Warhammer beginner completing your Silver or Gold award, you can also progress to Levels 3 and 4 for up to a year of additional content.
