This intensive week of training and instruction is intended for those who have a little climbing experience and are keen to learn more! Whether you’ve climbed indoors or outside before, as long as you can belay, this course is for you! You’re sure to learn an awful lot, because you’ll be in small groups of just 4 climbers to each instructor.
We will start the course with a two day Rock Skills Intermediate course (as accredited and developed by the national governing body, Mountain Training). The aim of this is to get you to a point where you are able to safely go rock climbing under your own steam at a suitable crag anywhere in the world. We’ll add to that with a day in the mountains, which will give you a good skill set for reaching some of the more remote crags in Britain before returning back to rock climbing for a taste of sea-cliff climbing. Finally, we’ll spend the last day looking at development and how to move forward with your rock climbing skills once the week has finished.
The cost of the residential includes all food, accommodation, registration fees and transport during the week (transport to/from Snowdonia is not included, though a train station pick up can be arranged).
