Volunteer for the UK’s largest conservation charity and be a part of an active and exciting organisation, making a difference to your local area.
With reserves and offices across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, the RSPB has roles to suit an office based or outdoor volunteer.
Get involved with conservation tasks; events and event planning; fundraising; family nature activities or research and administration. You’ll gain experience in people skills, confidence speaking to the public, ID skills, habitat management, species knowledge, IT skills and communications – all of which will look great on your CV.
There’s no lower age limit for volunteering with the RSPB. All relevant training will be provided and relevant expenses reimbursed. Volunteering roles can be carried out on weekdays, after school and at weekends and can be flexible around studies.
The RSPB works for a healthy environment rich in birds and wildlife and relies on the support of more than 13,000 volunteers to make a difference. See our current volunteer vacancies across the UK at rspb.org.uk/volunteering
Please note we can only offer Volunteering programmes and not Expedition, Skills or Residential.
