£225 – 5 days and 4 nights, all activities, accommodation and meals included.
A well-established residential AAP at the foot of the Surrey Hills that has welcomed Gold DofE participants for over 10 years, we offer a balanced mixture of adventure activities, conservation work and team challenges all lead by experienced and enthusiastic staff members.
2018 residential dates:
- October 22-26th
Adventure activities include climbing, high ropes, archery and a team obstacle course, and the conservation work is varied, changing according to the season. Previous projects have included tree planting, hedge-laying, stream clearance, path repair, fence construction and building a replica Iron Age roundhouse! The conservation work can also gain you a John Muir Discovery Award.
One of the most important aspects of the week is getting to know your fellow participants; you will work and live together in shared accommodation on our beautiful 56-acre site, building new relationships and sharing experiences with plenty of free time to relax and socialise in between.
The week includes evening activities – both indoors and out – with additional resources such as a DVD lending library, ping pong tables and sports equipment available to use in your free time together. Visit our website to find out more and contact us.
