Sayers Croft (Surrey) Gold DofE conservation and adventure residentials 2019

£225 – 5 days and 4 nights, all activities, accommodation and meals included. Discount for Westminster residents.

A well-established residential AAP at the foot of the Surrey Hills that has welcomed Gold DofE participants for over 10 years, we offer a balanced mixture of adventure activities, conservation work and team challenges all lead by experienced and enthusiastic staff members.

2019 residential dates:

February 18 – 22
April 08 – 12
July 29 – August 02
August 19 – 23
October 28 – November 01

Adventure activities include climbing, high ropes, archery and a team obstacle course, and the conservation work is varied, changing according to the season. Previous projects have included tree planting, hedge-laying, stream clearance, path repair, fence construction and building a replica Iron Age roundhouse! The conservation work can also gain you a John Muir Discovery Award.

One of the most important aspects of the week is getting to know your fellow participants; you will work and live together in shared accommodation on our beautiful 56-acre site, building new relationships and sharing experiences with plenty of free time to relax and socialise in between.
The week includes evening activities – both indoors and outside – with additional resources such as a DVD lending library, sports equipment and an outdoor pool (seasonal) available to use in your free time together. Visit our website to find out more and contact us.

We look forward to hearing from you.
