Would you like the opportunity to help disabled adults and children whilst working with horses? If this is something you’d like to get involved with you can volunteer at our Riding for the Disabled Centre in Scropton, Derbyshire.
We offer riding and carriage driving lessons to people of all ages and abilities, and currently have about 200 peoples coming through our doors each week.
You will make friends, have fun and make a real difference to the people that visit our centre. We will offer you full training and instruction so it doesn’t matter if you haven’t worked with horses before.
As a volunteer some of the activities you can get involved with are leading and side walking in the lessons, grooming, tacking up, cleaning tack, mucking out or even helping in our coffee bar.
