The Conservation Volunteers – Gold Tree Planting Volunteer – October onwards 2023

The Conservation Volunteers’ volunteering opportunity centres around our brand new I Dig Trees initiative.

Together, we’re taking positive action – planting millions of trees for our climate, wildlife and communities!

With each new planting scheme, we are creating and connecting wildlife corridors that allow nature to flourish in our communities. None of this could happen without YOU, our wonderful volunteers and community groups coming together to make a difference.

Your volunteering will be split into four three-month timelines guided by the Duke of Edinburgh X TCV toolkit, with TCV on hand throughout your journey to assist!

– Firstly, you will identify a community group or organisation that would like to receive the trees.
– Next, you will spend some time at a TCV site and get advice on tree planting before arranging and delivering your tree planting day.
– Once planted, the trees will need some TLC. You’ll spend some time on site maintaining the trees in their early stages.
– Finally, having delivered your tree planting, you’ll have the opportunity to fundraise for the I Dig Trees initiative and continue to help the trees!
