Become a Summer Reading Challenge volunteer and achieve your DofE volunteering.

If you are aged between 13-18 years old come you can apply to volunteer a minimum of 15 hours over the summer holidays in a library near you.

Enjoy listening and engaging with children of all ages talking about what they have read. Hand out incentives to keep them reading and get some vital experience for your CV.

The closing date for applications is 24th June

A training session will be in July after school in a library – either Grays, Belhus or Corringham.

The Summer Reading Challenge starts on the 8th July and finishes early September.
