The Teen Nutrition School offers an outstanding online nutrition and cookery course for young people completing the skills section of their DofE Bronze Award. Designed by well-known nutritionist and recipe developer Jenny Edelstein, the course empowers teens to make healthy food choices, by providing a fun and fascinating introduction to the science of nutrition, and teaching the invaluable life skill of cooking healthy and delicious meals.
This engaging and affordable course features multimedia presentations covering a range of practical nutrition topics, from how to read a food label, to managing stress through diet. Each unit will also include a recipe to prepare, with full instructions, photos and videos to help. Our recipes are of course healthy, but also delicious, so if you would like to learn to prepare banana almond pancakes and a Middle Eastern mezze feast, this course is for you.
On booking the course, participants are given access to our online platform, where all course materials can be found. Students can start anytime, and work from the comfort of their own home, at their own pace and at a time convenient to them, uploading their work upon completion. We welcome students with SEN and are happy to make suitable adjustments.
