• ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
Dof E Three Month Skills Section, Essential Cooking 2 Course
This course is an outstanding addition to our best selling Essential Cooking 1
In this information packed course, you will learn how to be a confident cook whether it is for your family, when you’re starting at Uni, moving to a more independent life or just simply for enjoyment.
Every week, this original course takes one ingredient and shows you how to cook it properly, showing you its versatility across cooking methods, flavour combinations and how you can use it to produce a range of meals.
Cooking is not complicated and in this Essential Cooking 2 course, we demystify some of the complicated recipes and advice you might have heard before.
With shopping and budgeting advice each week, you will feel more confident and independent!
At the end of the course, you will receive your U:Bee Completion Certificate and Assessor’s Report.
This course is ideal for anyone with an interest in cooking, preparing meals for family and friends and being self-sufficient.
NOTE: This is a standalone course and you do not have to have completed Essential Cooking Part 1 to take this course.
NOTE: During the Coronavirus COVID-19 event, there are shortages of some common food items that are used within the Essential Cooking courses, such as pasta and strong bread flour. This is the perfect time to be learning essential cookery skills, when we are having to be more resourceful with the food we have. We request that all participants do not use any extra items from the family food supply and instead, still watch the instructional videos and take the knowledge check but then help with the preparation of the normal family meal as an alternative to cooking the suggested dish
