DofE Three Month Skills Section Course – Homemade Dog Food and Treats

Have you ever thought about cooking some homemade dog dinners or biscuits?
Using tasty natural ingredients and herbs, you can make food and treats for your dog that not only taste good but can help your animal feel healthy and full of energy.
In this U:Bee three-month online course you will learn all about healthy nutrition for pets, healing ingredients, how to cook dog biscuits and kibble, and what not to serve your pet!
At the end of your course you will receive your U:Bee Completion Certificate and Assessor’s Report, ready for you to complete the Skills Section of your DofE.
This course is ideal for anyone with an interest in dogs, animals, and pet care.
How does this course help anyone working to achieve their DofE Award?
The course is provided by U:Bee Online who are a licensed Skills Section Approved Activity Provider (AAP) for The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. This means the courses we offer can fulfil all the requirements of the skills section at Bronze, Silver or Gold Level. Choose the correct length of course you need from our selection of three or six-month-long courses.

How is the course delivered?
The course material is delivered over a three-month period into your online U:Bee Learners Dashboard. The course material is informative and encourages you to do your own personal research and practice. You will also be encouraged to listen to the U:Bee #BeTheBestYouCanBe Podcast and read the U:Bee online magazine, BUZZ.
Will I receive the information I need for e-DofE?
Yes! When you enrol for the course you will be provided with all the information you need to complete your e-DofE. On completion, you will be given an Assessor’s Report and a Completion Certificate.
Remember – U:Bee Online is a licensed AAP, so the courses meet the high-quality standards required by The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award BUT you should always check with your Leader or Teacher that they are happy with your choice.
When can I start?
Today! As soon as you enrol you can begin your skills section.
Will I need to spend more money to finish this course?
You can finish the course and not spend any extra money. We give you lots of ideas about places to find free information and resources.
Do I need permission to start this course?
If you are 16+years, No! If you are under 16, Yes! You must be 13+years to take part in U:Bee Online Courses. Your parent or responsible adult will have to tick to say they agree to you doing the course if you need the permission of an adult.
