If the answer is yes then why not apply to become a Cycle Training Assistant? This unique opportunity will equip pupils with qualifications, skills and opportunities to volunteer in the community, not just in the classroom.
Cycling Scotland are looking for volunteers to deliver cycle proficiency/Bikeability Scotland training within their local authority to primary school pupils.
Open to teams of up to 4 pupils who must be in S4 or S5 in August 2015.
• Cycle Training Assistant Qualification (Volunteering opportunities)
• Cycle Maintenance Level 3 (City & Guilds)
• First Aid Qualification (SQA)
16 successful teams from around Scotland will be invited to attend a week-long camp in the October school break (12th until 16th October or 19th until 23rd October 2015).
