Living aboard one of our 11m offshore sailing yachts you will share in everything learning to sail, navigate the boat, cooking and keeping the boat safe and clean.

You will venture out into the Solent visiting exciting harbours marinas and creeks and if wind and tide permit further afield – maybe Poole or Weymouth. When you return you will have qualified as an RYA Competent crew provided you make the effort to learn the necessary skills while you are aboard.

It includes safety briefings, voyages at sea, night sailing, man overboard drill (we don’t actually throw anyone overboard) steering the boat and navigation. You will explore destination ports, see wildlife, learn to take the boat on and off a buoy under power and under sail.

You will grow in confidence, resilience and learn the importance of teamwork crucial to the smooth operation of a yacht. You have a lot of fun, a lot of laughs.

This adventure is for those who don’t want to walk with heavy loads on their backs and like a cosy bunk at night.

Cost includes lifejackets and wet weather gear, mooring fees, food (excluding food purchased and eaten off the boat) and equipment.
