Managing woodland access and forest operations in Scotland – aimed at forest managers but has useful information about access in forest areas for walkers and cyclists.
Large landslides have been reported in Gleann Easan Biorach, south of Lochranza. Members of the local mountain rescue team recommend avoiding this route for now, as there are a number of large boulders that look precariously balanced and may move at any time. No other damage has been reported, but it is possible there are similar hazards on other routes in Arran.
