The world is a bit different right now, isn’t it?

For most of us, our daily routines have changed quite a bit. We’d like to share how this can be a good thing!

For most of the staff at the DofE and a lot of you in the network, our working environment has changed considerably in the past six months. Gone are the days of smart outfits

That’s why we want to share #DofEWeartoWork – our Official DofE Clothing

To boost sales in the run up to Christmas and with Award achievers coming through we want to show that DofE Clothing is great for working at home and we need your help to spread the word.

DofE Clothing is comfy, warm and washable and earns quite generously for the DofE.  Most of you will have at least one item of DofE clothing, so all you budding social media influencers, Twitterati and LinkedInners need to wear it online.

The DofE Wear To Work campaign will run from Monday November 9 to Friday Dec 4 and you can post as many times as you like during this time.

We’d love your posts to be fun and informal reflecting the new realities of life working at home, or elsewhere such as a school reflecting with COVID-19 changes.

Your posts should appeal to your colleagues and the network and feature the hashtag #DofEWearToWork.  Please tag colleagues, Leaders, fundraising partners, whoever you think would get involved so that we can pass it on and keep the content coming for the duration of the campaign.

THIS IS THE IMPORTANT BIT

  • Please wear your DofE  Clothing making sure you can see the DofE logo clearly!
  • Take a picture –  selfies are ok but have limited versatility to show the clothing –  we need some variety
  • Think creatively – food, exercise, and pets are all allowed
  • Post on your social media including the #DofEWearToWork , tagging your colleagues and everyone else.
  • Ahead of the 9 November please contact anyone in the network that would be ‘up for it’ and you think would take part in the campaign
  • We’d like as many staff to get involved as possible and if anyone wants to do a short video, please do

Anyway, sometimes the best way to inspire is to show, so the commercial team (and a friend) have done some examples for you
