Before partaking in the 'Duke of Edinburgh's award scheme', I found my self heading down a route that would only land me trouble further on in life. I didn't know what I wanted to do with my life, let alone where I would be. It is thanks to the Duke of Edinburgh's award scheme that I joined my local Air Cadet Squadron, and Martial arts gym, equipping me with skills that I will be able to use throughout my life. I also viewed His Royal Highness as a great role model, his courage and valour in the face of ardour was something that most definitely helped my brave the lockdown.

I would like to end this short tribute by thanking his Royal Highness, his devotion to service no doubtedly changed the lives of millions, not only in the UK but around the world.
