Doing my Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards were a huge part of me growing up and helped shaped me and get me to where I am today! I remember on completing my Gold expedition the leader telling our group that if we could do that, we could do anything we wanted to and that has stuck with me over the last few years of young adulthood. Not only that, but it was also so so much fun and I still laugh about the stories from D of E with my friends I did it with today!

Going to the palace was also such a special day with my family, other awards recipents and of course HRH, who was warm and friendly. I was also lucky enough to visit the palace several more times and Buckingham Palace as a Gold award volunteer. These were such special days and I will forever remember them!
