As a corporate supporter of the DofE for more than ten years at both the national and local level, I had the pleasure of meeting Prince Philip on one of his last public appearances. He was, of course, charming and friendly, but also full of energy and enthusiasm for the young participants there to collect their Gold Awards. A treasured memory indeed!
