DofE gave me such a positive experience, allowing me to grow and gain transferable skills. I enjoyed being part of the programme so much that I completed my Bronze on Horse Back and Gold on foot whilst at school. I was able to work with different groups of people and had the opportunity to explore the Lake District and even wild camp which I would never have had access to without DofE.

I am now a DofE Leader, Assessor and Supervisor to allow me to support more young people through this amazing award programme.
