Moderation guidelines

Thank you for visiting our 70th anniversary Stories site. To help us keep the site a safe, inclusive and celebratory space to be, please consider the guidelines below when sharing your story. 

Every submission will be reviewed by our moderation team and we aim to publish stories within 2-3 days working days from submission, excluding public holidays. 

We will not approve and publish any stories that feature the following: 

• Inappropriate, derogatory or offensive language
• Inappropriate images, e.g. featuring nudity, offensive gestures, cruelty or inciting crime / violence
• Stories that encourage or promote inappropriate, dangerous or illegal behaviour
• Inappropriate references, e.g. anything that features abuse, racism, extremist views, criticism of individuals or organisations, sexual references, fake news / misinformation, phishing or scams
• Stories that aren’t relevant, e.g. stories that are advertising something, or a story that isn’t related to DofE
