As the lead for DofE Gold at our college for coming up to 4 years now it has been incredible to see the positive impact DofE has had on our students over this period.
The fulfilment they have felt when completing the award and seeing them develop their life skills and improve their independence throughout the course of the award has been extremely rewarding.
The award is so crucial in helping young people grow up and mature into the young adult they will become in the future.
All of our students have thoroughly enjoyed the award despite it being a huge commitment during their A levels.
The expedition is always a highlight for them as they make new friends and learn to work as part of a team.
Truly, this award has helped so many of our students over the years and we will continue to offer this award for our students.
