I completed my Bronze and Silver awards in 1980 and 1981 respectively. My favourite memories after all these years was the expedition camps to Derbyshire and Wales with an amazing volunteer, the late teacher, Veronica Anderson MBE whom continued to run the local DoE scheme into her late seventies.
I still have my certificates and lapel badges which will now be framed and put on display in honour of the late, great Prince Phillip, Duke of Edinburgh.
