Dealing with visual impairment/eye conditions can be daunting, especially for those who may have not been to Moorfields before as a patient. We need volunteers to help meet and greet our patients, provide them with PPE, help them navigate around the hospital to their clinics and provide them that reassurance and guidance they may need.
For those feeling anxious for their appointment having a friendly individual to support them goes a long way.

Due to insurance policies we can only take on volunteers aged 16 or over. We will also need volunteers to undergo a recruitment process with our HR department which will include some online training, and a DBS check.
