Oyster Worldwide – Sun Bear Conservation in Borneo – Gold Residential

Volunteer with the world’s smallest bear at a rescue centre and sanctuary in beautiful Borneo.

What’s it all about?

These sun bears have been rescued from the cruel pet or tourist trade, where they were kept in cramped enclosures for many years. Now, they have the opportunity to live in a beautiful rescue centre, in a life as close to the wild as possible. For a lucky few, there may even be the chance to be released back to the wild!

Volunteers become involved in a variety of tasks, not limited to:

– creating enrichment
– maintenance checks
– food preparation
– feeding
– cleaning enclosures

How much does it cost?
