Key information for participants/parents about the participant DofE Card
Congratulations on doing your DofE.
Your personal DofE Card and Digital DofE Card can give you savings of at least 10%, and often up to 40% – on more than just expedition kit.
Your Participant DofE Card and Digital DofE Card gives you a discount in five fantastic retailers, in-store and online.
GO Outdoors, Blacks, Millets, Ultimate Outdoors and Tiso are all DofE Recommended Retailers of Expedition Kit and you and your family can use your card to save on everything you buy.
How to sign up for your new DofE Card
- To register for your DofE Card, log into your eDofE account online or via the DofE app
- Click through where it says ‘Register for your DofE Card’ and fill out your details
- Once you’ve submitted your request, you’ll receive a confirmation email from GO Outdoors with your new Digital Card
- You should then receive your new blue recycled Physical DofE Card within 15 working days in the post
Once you receive your email and/or recycled plastic card, just take to the till or input online to get your exclusive DofE discount (T&Cs apply).

Option 1 (eDofE):
- Login to eDofE.
- Click the Digital DofE Card banner on the right-hand side of eDofE.
- A pop-up box will appear – click ‘Yes Please’ so you can download your Digital DofE Card.
- The Digital DofE Card will then be sent to the email address linked with your eDofE account.
Option 2 (DofE app – participants only)
- Download the DofE app which is available free from the App Store and Google Play.
- Login to the app with your eDofE details.
- Download the Digital DofE Card from the ‘DofE Card’ section on the app.

How to use your Digital DofE Card:
You have three options for keeping hold of the Digital DofE Card. You can either:
- Print the email you received.
- Display the email in-store.
- Add the Digital DofE Card to your mobile wallet.
If you are buying a mixture of sale and non-sale items, the DofE discount will be applied to all eligible items across the retailers. Offers, prices and stock change frequently so shop around to get the best deal for you. For more information, visit our terms and conditions.
The DofE discount is now available in over 200 stores across the UK. Find your nearest store with our store finder.

Your DofE Card is ready to use as soon as you receive it. It is personalised to you from the information you have registered on eDofE.
Use the codes on the back of the card to claim your discount in-store and online:
In-store: Show the barcode in any GO Outdoors, Blacks, Millets, Ultimate Outdoors or Tiso stores to get your discount.
Online: At GOOutdoors.co.uk
- Enter your membership number in the ‘Membership number’ box
- Enter your online discount code in the ‘voucher’ box
Online: At Blacks, Millets, Ultimate Outdoors and Tiso
- Enter your online discount code in the ‘voucher’ box
Every purchase you make generates a donation to the DofE charity helping more young people do their DofE.
If you have not received your DofE Card:
- Please check that your address details and communications preferences are correct in eDofE.
- If they are correct but you have not received your card, please email [email protected].

Please contact [email protected] and we’ll be able to assist you.
We’re unable to send you a new DofE Card with the correct spelling, as the cards are automatically printed once the information is entered on an eDofE account. This includes a one-time unique barcode which is specifically tailored to your account.
However, the DofE Card with the incorrect spelling is still valid and you are able to use it in-store and online at our recommended retailers.
Alternatively, you can download the Digital DofE Card from eDofE or the DofE app (participants only for the app). It can be added to a mobile wallet, printed out or displayed on email.
The DofE Card is available to everyone who is involved with the DofE and their family. However, the DofE Card and Digital DofE Card should not be passed onto friends.
Parents and family can use either the physical DofE Card or download the Digital DofE Card to their wallet, but they will not be sent their own card.
Your family are able to make savings on all eligible purchases across all the stores and websites – not just clothing and kit for a DofE expedition.
