We will be running Open Silver Paddlesport Expeditions in 2025:

A Practice expedition on 29 – 31 July; and,
A Qualifying expedition on 7-9 August 2025

Canoes are an amazing way to travel: exploring rivers, lochs, coastlines, and islands. Why not try a canoe expedition for your Silver? If you want to do our practice, no prior experience is necessary, we shall provide lots of training and coaching. To take part in the qualifying expedition, we look for you to have either been a participant in our practice expedition or have undertaken a canoe practice expedition with another provider.

The practice expedition will take place in Stirlingshire. We will base ourselves at Loch Earn, accessing bodies of water like Loch Earn, Loch Lubnaig and Loch Voil. We will use serviced campsites with toilets. There will be a big emphasis on training and skills.

We will provide all of the specialized canoe kit and equipment, and a dry sack rucksack and barrel for you to store your stuff. We will also provide tents and stoves. Transport from the central belt of Scotland will be provided too
