Fresh Tracks offers practical, hands-on cookery courses for young people preparing for a ski season as a chalet host or developing essential life skills before university. Both 5-day residential courses meet the requirements for the Gold DofE residential section.

Held in beautiful Polzeath, Cornwall, just five minutes from the beach, students enjoy a relaxed setting with comfortable accommodation, gym and tennis court access, and the opportunity to learn to surf in their free time.

The chalet hosting course focuses on cooking breakfasts, afternoon teas, canapés, and three-course dinners, alongside learning key hosting skills. Expert tutors with over 15 years’ experience and strong ski industry connections support students in finding jobs.

The Off-to-Uni course teaches students how to cook affordable, nutritious meals and build kitchen confidence, setting them up for university life.

Courses are delivered in small domestic kitchen settings with class sizes limited to just 8 students per week, ensuring personalised guidance and support.
