Head for the Hill – Farm Residential

Spend 5 days on a working farm learning how to care for animals and gaining an understanding of how the farm operates. Enjoy camping on the farm — with confidence-building team building / leadership games and a camp fire each night.
Enjoy the fantastic ‘games room’ barn where you can relax and socialize with other participants. This experience will bring you together with like-minded people and we’re certain you’ll make friends for life.
Spend the first day on a farm safari, getting to know the farm, and its animals, followed by an evening BBQ;
Subsequent days will be spent :-
Looking after the Midlands Champion Pedigree herds – British Blondes (formerly Blondes d’Aquetain) and Aberdeen Angus.
Flock husbandry – ensuring the health and well-being of the sheep flock
Cattle and land management to include the government led Countryside Stewardship Scheme
Care of the horses in the livery yard – meet the horses and their owners and gain an understanding of the dedication required for horse owners.
