Parents and the DofE:
Supporting young people to be who they want to be

We’re excited to be running Bronze DofE programmes at Rob Test.

This year, Year 9s will be able to do their Bronze DofE – and we’d like as many of them as possible to benefit from this opportunity.

It takes about [months to complete an award] months to achieve a Bronze Award and this year we’ll run it at school from [month from] to [month to].

Students who do their DofE will choose the skills they want to develop and the activities they want to do as part of their own programme. We will take them on a two-day, one-night expedition organised by the school on [Expedition dates].

The DofE is open to all young people. We want all students to feel they can take part and there will be financial support available for students who need it.
