Take to the skies this summer and experience the once in a lifetime thrill on the DofE Wing Walk Challenge. Standing on a 1940s biplane you’ll feel freedom and excitement as you fly through the air with the roar of the 450HP engine while taking in the stunning views of the Gloucestershire countryside and being cheered on by the DofE squad below.

On the 27th July 2023 a team of 10 brave wing walkers took part in the first ever DofE wing walk, raising over £12,600 to help make DofE accessible to all. Now it’s your chance!

Requirements
Commit to trying to raise a minimum sponsorship of £1,000 (All money you personally raise in sponsorship will go directly to The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award charity).
All those taking part must be over 18, no taller than 6ft 2” and no more than 14 stone in weight. Wing walkers should be able to climb up and down from the plane unassisted (via steps) and be medically fit to fly. If you have a medical condition regulated by a doctor then you must be medically approved to fly.
