eDofE Training Modules

Our next round of eDofE training modules commenced on 16 January 2023 – book on to one or all of them!

Modules are a great opportunity to learn a bit more about eDofE, with our friendly and knowledgeable Operations Officers!

All modules take place from 18:00 to 19:00 and are virtual.

DofE Expedition Skills (DES) courses

We are delivering two Duke of Edinburgh’s Expedition Skills (DES) courses this spring. The first on 22, 27, and 28 March is aimed at leaders working with young people with additional support needs.

The second, on 5, 6, and 7 May is open to all leaders who would benefit.

DES courses are aimed at equipping expedition leaders and support staff with basic expedition skills and particularly designed to increase confidence and skills to support the Expedition Section.

There are no prerequisites for attendance and absolute beginners are very welcome. Topics covered include an intro to navigation, campcraft, kit, weather, and group management.
