Bendrigg are a leading specialist outdoor centre for people with disabilities and from disadvantaged backgrounds with over 40 years of working with people of all abilities. We are ideally situated between the Yorkshire Dales and the stunning Lake District.

Join us to complete your Gold DofE Expedition in one go. This will be a ‘back to back’ expedition (i.e. training, practice and qualifying expeditions) over 7 days (6 nights).

The expedition will be fully accessible to cater for each team member’s needs and will most likely be a mixture of walking/pushing on wheelchair accessible routes & canoeing in rafted canoes.

You will be staying within our main Lodge accommodation with the option (and encouragement!) of camping in our grounds whilst on expedition. Our accessible accommodation has aids such as ceiling mounted tracking hoists, shower beds, wet rooms and profile beds.
