Touch Typing Flexi Plus Course – 1 Session Online Via Zoom, then 11 Weeks Home Learning – fully supported by experienced teachers.
Choose your introductory session when you enrol, either a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday from 5:30pm – 6:30pm then complete your further 11 weeks at a time that suits you.
Our 3 month Course includes:
• One Online Introductory Session via Zoom with qualified teachers
• 11 Week Individualised Home Learning Typing Plan
• Online Typing Programme (valid for a year)
• Colour Coded Keyboard
• DofE Assessor’s Report
One Introductory session via Zoom to get your started then the rest of the course is completed in your own time from home (or at boarding school/college/uni/overseas) with support on hand when you need it from teachers with over 20 years experience.
Our tutors are highly qualified and experienced teachers – you know you will be in safe hands.
After your Online Introductory session, you then complete your hour a week Touch Typing at a time that suits you!
You will be set tasks to complete every week and asked for your results and a short video clip to show us your technique.
Clare or Philippa will report back to you via email with their observations and advice for correct finger positioning and how to increase your wpm.
They will then set you a personalised typing plan for the following week.
By the end of the 12 weeks, you will have gained a skill for life!
At the end of the course, expect to pass your Certificate of Touch Typing with at least 90% accuracy and well over 30 words per minute.

We have been an Approved Activity Provider for over 3 years and have successfully taught hundreds of DofE students to Touch Type.
We also run DofE online courses via Zoom with support from two qualified teachers throughout each session. Alternatively, we offer a totally Flexi DofE Course (without the online session) where you complete your typing at a time that suits you, still supported by your allocated teacher.
