Complete your Gold DofE expeditions and training in the National Forest.
These expeditions are designed for any participant who would find an expedition in wild country with a full rucksack challenging due to disabilities, medical conditions or additional needs. We will support the team to plan an appropriate qualifying expedition, with a short distance walking each day and plenty of time on the team goal, utilising smoother terrain such as tow paths and old railways with easier accessibility for this team.
Our medical backup includes qualified outdoor instructors who also work for the ambulance service. We have a good level of understanding of a variety of medical conditions and disabilities and their impact on expedition life, and work to support our reduced mobility teams to complete their expedition in a challenging yet achievable way by supporting each other.
The expedition package includes:
E-learning modules to be completed before the face to face training
