Sense is a national charity supporting and campaigning for people who are deafblind and those with sensory impairments.
We also run holidays to provide opportunities for holiday makers - deafblind children, young people and adults - to have fun, try new things and meet new people!
Our enthusiastic volunteers, led by an experienced and skilled holiday leader, use their DofE experience, great interpersonal skills, willingness to learn, team work, flexibility, stamina, patience, humour and care to work one to one with holiday makers to enable them to fully participate and bring our Holidays programme to life.
This volunteering opportunity is for those aged 18 and over. We are able to offer a limited number of volunteering roles to those people aged 17 who have significant experience of working with those with additional needs.
