As an Approved Activity Provider for DofE,  The Avenue have a brilliant range of classes suitable to complete your DofE Skills section,  while learning a variety of new culinary skills and easy recipes to make from home!

Steering away from the ‘usual’ cupcake decorating & pizza making and teaching kids a range of different recipes including a variety of techniques and tastes! Of course, a cupcake here and there never goes a miss, but they endeavour to eradicate fussy eaters and enter kids into a more ‘adult’ and delicious foodie world!

In each of their classes, you will cook in pairs or as teams and will whip up your very own tasty dish to either eat in The Avenue kitchen or to take home. They begin the classes with a short demonstration displaying what will be cooked, followed by hands-on cooking, putting newfound culinary skills to use. Guidance and support will be offered throughout from their friendly, laid-back back and dedicated chefs but they will ensure all kids get their hands dirty – after all, what’s a better way to learn?!
