HOW DOES THIS COURSE HELP ANYONE WORKING TO ACHIEVE THEIR BRONZE, SILVER, OR GOLD DUKE OF EDINBURGH’S AWARD?

The course is provided by U:Bee Online which is a licensed Skills Section Approved Activity Provider (AAP) for The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. This means the courses we offer can fulfil all the requirements of the skills section at Bronze, Silver, or Gold Level. Choose the correct length of course you need from our selection of three- or six-month-long courses.

HOW IS THE COURSE DELIVERED?
The course material is delivered over a three-month period into your online U:Bee Learners Dashboard. The course material is informative and encourages you to do your own personal research and practice. You will also be encouraged to listen to the U:Bee #BeTheBestYouCanBe Podcast and read the U:Bee online magazine, BUZZ.

WILL I RECEIVE THE INFORMATION I NEED FOR MY e-DofE?

Yes! When you enrol for the course, you will be provided with all the information you need to complete your e-DofE. On completion, you will be given an Assessor’s Report and a Completion Certificate.

Remember – U:Bee Online is a licensed AAP, so the courses meet the high-quality standards required by The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award BUT you should always check with your Leader or Teacher that they are happy with your choice.

You can finish the course and not spend any extra money. We give you lots of ideas about places to find free information and resources.

DO I NEED PERMISSION TO START THIS COURSE?

If you are 16+years, No! If you are under 16, Yes! You must be 13+years to take part in U:Bee Online Courses. Your parent or responsible adult will have to tick to say they agree to you doing the course if you need the permission of an adult.
