YHA is once again partnering with Peak District National Park to offer DofE Gold Residentials. Participants will undertake conservation work with the park rangers and stay in single-sex shared dormitories at YHA Hartington Hall with all meals included.
There will be three residentials running over the summer holidays limited to the following dates and age ranges:
Mon 12 to Fri 16 August 2024 – for ages 16 & 17 year old
Mon 26 to Fri 30 August 2024 – for ages 16 & 17 year old
Mon 9 to 13 September 2024 – for ages 18 to 25 year old
You will arrive at YHA Hartington Hall on Monday where YHA staff will welcome you to the hostel and introduce you to your fellow participants. Your evenings will involve fun social activities at and around the hostel. Daytime on Tuesday to Thursday, you will join National Park Rangers to learn and gain first-hand experience doing conservation work around the Peak District. Friday morning will have a reflection session.
