You will join a team of volunteers to help rescued lions, tigers, African wild dogs, hyenas, servals, and rescued donkeys!

The animals have been rescued from a variety of backgrounds including circuses, zoos and war zones.

Working closely with the local team your help is needed to:
• Preparing meat, supplements and meals for the big cats and other animals
• Making and giving out animal enrichments – things that help stimulate the animals such as catnip which the lions love!

• Cleaning and improving animal enclosures

• Taking care of the rescued donkeys

You will do a safari wildlife drive around the beautiful reserve, to see wildlife such as buffalo, zebra, giraffe, baboons and many different birds.

You’ll have your own room in a very comfortable safari style volunteer lodge on a beautiful site, a chance to enjoy beautiful rural Africa.

Outside there is a plunge pool, BBQ area and ‘boma’ with fire pit.

All meals are provided, there are vegetarian and vegan options available.

Your transfers to and from the airport will be arranged for you.

You can join any day of the week for: 1 week, 10 days or 2-12 weeks.
