The London Marathon is one of the biggest and most iconic marathons in the world with a record 1.3 million people applying for places in the 2027 event.
Now’s your chance to run the London Marathon to support the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award charity. We have a limited number of charity places for the 2027 London Marathon which will guarantee your entry.
To apply to join team DofE for the London Marathon please complete the short application form. Please note that places are for Sunday 25 April only.
Applications close 4.00pm Tuesday 25 August. If you’ve been successful, we’ll notify you no later than Monday 7 September. Due to the number of applications we receive we’re not able to contact all unsuccessful applicants so if you haven’t heard from us by Monday 7 September your application will have been unsuccessful this time.
All applicants must be aged 18 or over by the date of the marathon next year (25 April 2026). If you’re offered a place, you’ll need to pay a non-refundable registration fee of £150 and raise a minimum of £2,000 (excluding Gift Aid) for the DofE charity. Please only apply if you’re confident that you can commit to raising this amount.
